According to analyst Timothy Arcuri of Cowen and Company, Apple is considering a smaller version of its iPhone, by next year. The new iPhone mini is expected to have a 4-inch screen, with curved edges similar to the current iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus. The iPhone mini might serve as a low cost option and might replace the iPhone 5c. The smaller screen might appeal to those users who prefer a one hand operation of the device.
On another note, Arcuri also predicts that Apple is preparing to launch a larger 12.9-inch iPad in 2015.
